What does a kit usually contain?
Each kit comes with measuring cups, wooden sticks, gloves, and a 24-color set of Mica powder bags. Play with the colors to create unique pieces that reveal your personality!
How do I use epoxy?
Follow these 3 simple steps to use epoxy glue correctly.
1. Pour equal parts of resin and hardener into the measuring cup: Measure equal parts of RESIN and HARDENER in the graduated mixing cups and start mixing the product by hand with a clean stir stick.
2. Mix them and add your favorite powder colors: Thoroughly mix the two components with clean stir sticks until the mixture becomes transparent. Depending on the quantity you’re mixing, it can take between 3 and 7 minutes of continuous mixing without whipping.
3. Pour the composition into the desired shape or surface and let it dry for 24 hours: The objects created with Roxy Epoxy resin need to sit for several hours in a dust-free space to cure properly. It can take up to 72 hours for the products to dry completely.
How much time does it take to make an epoxy design?
Most Epoxy Resins have around a 30 minute working time. This is the time in which you can work with the resin after mixing it before it begins to harden. You might also hear this referred to as gel time or even pot time. Because of this short period, I recommend mixing small batches of epoxy resin.
